Panini America’s dazzling Spectra technology started as a colourful extension of the company’s popular Optichrome during the 2013 NFL trading card season and made the transition to the NBA just months later.
Those two sports have boldly carried the Spectra brand to popular heights in the years since. But later this year, Spectra gets a new sport — and the vibrant world of soccer trading cards may never be the same!
Due out in late September, Panini's Spectra Soccer 2016 will deliver the wildly sought-after Prizm technology, thick card stock, vibrant colors and rare patterned parallels that have become the Spectra brand’s calling-card recipe.
On average, each 10-card pack of 2016 Spectra Soccer will deliver five autograph or memorabilia cards, three base cards, one die-cut parallel numbered to 65 or less and one base parallel numbered to 75 or less. The highlights of Spectra’s soccer debut are many and include:
- A combination of soccer stars from the past, present and future. Six autograph inserts showcase the best and brightest in the world.
- Panini America continues to bring the biggest names in soccer to trading cards. Look out for new signers that include Anthony Martial, Łukasz Fabiański, Patrice Evra, Neymar Jr. and more.
- Look out for autographs from legends of the game such as Pelé and Diego Maradona, current superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and future stars such as Anthony Martial and Alvaro Morata.
- Spectra shows off a spectacular spectrum of special colors. Each box delivers one base set parallel and one die-cut parallel on average. Be on the hunt for two unique 1/1 parallels: Base Set Gold and Base Set Die-Cut Black.
